"For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ"
(2 Corinthians 5:21).
Today, Jesus Christ crushed Satan's head by conquering death on the cross! He Has risen from the dead, fulfilling prophecy that was written nearly 4,000 years before His birth: Genesis 3:15, "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel". The prophet Isaiah also prophesied the events of Jesus's death on the cross in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed".
Hallelujah Jesus Christ is our redeemer, King and Savior! Thank you Jesus for what you did for us on the cross. Because you walked a perfect life and so willingly took on the punishment of my sin on the cross, I am now able to commune with God and have eternal life! You are the bridge to heaven - the only way to God (John 14:6).
